Advanced Hybrid Closed Loop system for people living with type 1 diabetes.
Our most advanced insulin pump system with SmartGuardTM automatically*** adjusts insulin delivery and corrects glucose levels every 5 minutes, 24/7 with one infusion set change per week*,1 and no fingerpricks**. The system is compatible with three sensors: Instinct sensor (made by Abbott and designed exclusively for the MiniMedTM 780G system), Simplera SyncTM sensor and GuardianTM 4 sensor.
Anticipates. Adjusts. Corrects.
Anticipates insulin needs. Adjusts insulin delivery. Corrects highs automatically† while helping to protect you from lows1,***.
Improved Outcomes. Improved Satisfaction3,††

MiniMed™ 780G system - SmartGuardTM algorithm
Lou Lintereur, the Chief Engineer of Automated Insulin Delivery Systems at MiniMed, discusses the SmartGuardTM algorithm, a key feature of the MiniMedTM 780G system.
I’ve been a MiniMed girl since I was 12. My insulin pump has given me more freedom and, above all, less mental burden.

Footnotes
* When used with Medtronic Extended infusion set. Refer to User Guide.
**A blood glucose (BG) reading is needed when entering SmartGuard™ feature. If glucose alerts and CGM readings do not match your symptoms, use a BG meter to make diabetes treatment decisions.
***Refer to User Guide. Some user interaction required.
****Please refer to the MiniMed™ 780G system IFU. These features do not replace the need to bolus before meals.
***** Simplera Sync™ Sensor is currently only available in the UK. We are working with the relevant regulatory bodies in the the Republic of Ireland to make this CGM innovation available to customers in this region as soon as possible.
†Refer to System User Guide - SmartGuard™ feature. Some user interaction required.
††Compared with MDI
†††TIR was reached using the optimal settings that are the combination of glucose target at 100 mg/dL (5.5 mmol/L) and Active Insulin Time (AIT) at 2 hours for at least 95% of the time. SmartGuard™ feature settings for each single patient must be defined by HCPs based on individual targets and specific needs
